Back from the Baring-Gould Folk Festival - it was a really good one this year. Amazingly the sun shone for pretty much the whole weekend, even in Okehampton!

If you are around in Devon on Saturday (15th Oct), why not come to the family ceilidh in Chittlehamholt Village Hall? The band for the night is the Folk Orchestra of North Devon, a community music group that Nick and I run for Wren Music.

Well we had a great time in Deal at the Maritime folk festival. We managed to travel by public transport all the way from Bideford - much better than geting stuck on the M25 for hours! We stayed with Ray from Loose Change Theory - thanks for the hospitality Ray (and that lovely French cider!). Had a couple of good gigs - a really rowdy one in the Green Berry and a more sedate one in the town hall - and a lovely fiddle workshop!
